In General

The first international scientific conference Advances and Perspectives of Biodiversity Research and Conservation in Georgia will be held by National Botanical Garden of Georgia. Conference is targeted at study of Georgia’s rich biodiversity, its conservation and the works, connected with establishing of living collections in Botanical Gardens, sharing of experience between botanical gardens and research institutions and favoring their activities. This conference is renewed international format of annual Scientific Conference “Biodiversity and Georgia”, which is held in National Botanical Garden of Georgia traditionally since 2015.

The first International Scientific Conference is planned to be held in 2019, which will allow botanical organisations, based in Georgia, as well as our partners in foreign countries, to present the projects, dealing with plant biodiversity of our country, to publicize the results of research, new achievements, future plans and current researches, to summarize the results of collaborations of the past years and to analyze the outcomes.
